This 2021 Labor Day; Let’s Recommit To Labor In Partnership Towards Ending Stigma Faster!!!! Whether we are talking about HIV, TB, or COVID- 19; Stigma frustrates government efforts to prevent new infections, treat illness & control non- inevitable deaths. HOW? Because it tends to lead to disgracing & discrediting, disapproving & condemning, rejecting & discriminating people rumored, believed, or known to be positive with HIV, TB, or Covid-19 and it makes people hesitate to (a) Test (b) Disclose to people who need to know for effective prevention, treatment & adherence to SOPs. As it has been with HIV; many people who test positive for CoVid-19 do not escape being stigmatized & shamed, blamed, and discriminated against. Collective efforts on Multiplying SAVE(on one hand) & eliminating SSDDIM( on the other hand) are needed to end AIDS, TB & COVID-19 Faster!
